Short Term insurance provides coverage 24 hours after your application is approved. The plans offer medical care, urgent care, emergency care, and hospital services. There may also be coverage for prescription medications.
Short term coverage does not offer maternity services, including prenatal care, mental health services, or any type of pre-existing conditions. Preventive exams are only eligible for children up to 17 years old. Wellness services, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and cosmetic services, are also not covered.
Yes, short-term insurance does not require annual service contracts.
